The Department warmly welcomes students, parents/guardians, faculty and stakeholders. The Department started as Clothing Technology Department in 1990 offering Certificate in Clothing Technology and later mounted a Clothing Technology Diploma in 2005.
In the same year it was recognized as a center of excellence in the Kenya for 100% pass in KNEC examinations for seven consecutive years. In 2012 the Department was renamed, Fashion Design and Marketing (FD&M) and boasts of 17 highly trained and qualified academic and non-academic staff.
