The first BSc in Fashion Design and Marketing students were enrolled in 2014.

The department is well equipped with advanced industrial cutting equipment, stitching and embroidery sewing machines and spacious workshops.

Other programmes include Diploma and Certificate in Fashion Design and Marketing. The Departments aspirations include mounting additional design academic programmes at all degree levels and be the epitome of excellence in training, research, consultancy and community service in design disciplines.
